SUPER late pass, sorry people I keep meaning to post these things but I just keep forgetting or I don't have time!
(btw there's a slight name change to the blog, thanks to everyone that caught that and realized that!)
Don't count Lupe Fiasco out as a wack rapper yet. He proves on this mixtape right here that despite a few eff ups here and there in his career, the dude can rap. Nike Training 2010 Footwear
Not usually big into the trainers, but these are VERY nice. Pictured (in descending order) are the Lunar Kayoss, Trainer 1 Low, and the SC2010. I think I like these a lot because they all have features reminiscent of older styles. Gotta get these!

Teleported
This song by Turbo came out awhile ago on Electrorock V.4 (which you need to get at myspace.com/scrambleupwards or by following the link to his page on the right, as well as all his other albums) but only appeared as a snippet. Ladies and gentlemen, we are blessed by the FULL version with a music video even! Good stuff, Turbo is one of the best out there. Really sucks to see a guy with so much talent go unnoticed, but I trust one day his light will shine bright for the world to see! Scramble UP!

Wow @ the Roots assembling roughly 1,000 fillers since the conception of Late Night with Jimmy Failin! I'm sorry people, but that's the only reason I even watch the show, is to catch those gems the Roots drop before and after every commercial break. Luckily, ?uestlove released "sandwiches" (what he called the fillers) on his Twitter account (I dunno how I missed them) and somebody compiled them into this amazing EP. Click this sandwich to download it, it is VERRRRY good! The songs are only a minute or so long but they are dang good.

DONE!
Finally, I am done with this fall semester! Haven't been posting much due to studying for finals and work and everything else in between, but now I'll be posting like a mad man since I'll have more time!
As far as music goes, I'm gonna work really hard to get some music out for the people that care. Two free projects (maybe three), one we'll start selling, as well as t-shirts and stuff. We'll also get to work on some videos...hopefully! I feel like I have all this time but I'm sure you all know how that goes...it just flies by before you even notice!
I am thoroughly excited because next week, my beautiful girlfriend will be back in town! I'll try to spend lots of time with her, and if she's reading this...I can't wait to see you and I miss you much! Already counting off the hours!
It seems like it's been awhile since we've had a show, but we will have a show in McCall alongside Eleven again (provided we have a ride up there)! The reason for this is because my little car just won't make it, and Matt can't risk a rematch against another elk. We will also be at Gusto's on New Year's Eve to help Eleven out with a song coming soon on his next album! Hope to see you guys at either show!
I'm very excited to be where I am right now and I look forward to your reactions when we start releasing this new music! THANK YOU!

There's No Way
Speaking of Idle Warship, Res has a new FREE CD out as well! It's called "Black.Girls.Rock!" and I'll post the link in a separate post as well, but until then, enjoy this video and song from the CD called "There's No Way". Good stuff!
A lot of people are bad-mouthing her new album but I think it's wonderful. I don't think people understood that she came onto the scene with a pop/rock sound, so everyone's upset that she isn't singing soul or something. DUMB. Let's just embrace all facets of her musical ability huh? You can't deny the goodness of Res' music!
I still think she's one of the prettiest girls I've seen! Yowzers!

Starlight
Oh man, the rest of the Thriller demos are beginning to leak! It's just interesting to hear how some of Michael Jackson's songs were before they become what they are now. Take "Starlight" for instance. Click this picture to listen to what "Thriller" could've been. As much as I dig "Starlight", I think Mike made a good decision switching around the lyrics for it.
