Onwards

This is a really cool video by Nike produced by none other than James Jarvis. My favorite part is when night falls! This is such a sweet video!

Rick Ross x The Roots

I love seeing the bridge between so called "underground" and "mainstream" acts. I hate those labels, but you never would imagine The Roots to back Rick Ross. I love where music is going these days! Check out this amazing performance of Rick's new single "Magnificent" which gets the special Roots treatment on Fallon!

Take off the Blues

Check out the new video from Foreign Exchange featuring Darien Brockington! It's a 2-in-1 so don't exit the video until you've heard the second song, both of which are my favorites from the album! "Take off the Blues" and "Valediction"...if you still haven't checked out Foreign Exchange's album "Leave it All Behind" you are majorly missing out; it's an excellent CD! Enjoy!

Tekken 6!

Looks awesome! Can't wait for this!

Reality Check

JAY $TAY PAID! That's the name of the new J Dilla album being released this summer by Nature Sounds! This one's guaranteed to be excellent because the 25-track collection will be mixed and arranged by Pete Rock, one of the few who thoroughly understand Dilla's methods. Black Thought was featured in the song above, but the album will also include Blu (what!), Illa J, Doom, Raekwon, M.O.P. and more! June 2nd...mark your calendars!

Holographic Double

Turbo does it again! Excellent job playing the rappers! Electrorock V.5 coming soon!

Maybe So, Maybe No/I Wish It Would Rain

Dang...this Mayer Hawthorne dude is pretty nice! I have no idea when his CD comes out but these two new songs have recently surfaced and are FRESH. Good grown music. Stones Throw always has mega talented people!
