Point Dume Residence
This Point Dume residence in Malibu, California probably has one of the most amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. Designed by Griffin Enright Architects, this modern luxury home sits on the highest points of Point Dume. Inside, large expansive windows, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors all come together to make the house feel like part of its outside surroundings. As the architects states, “This project explores the nature of fluidity and sequence in the context of space, circulation and landscape.”

LED Light Installations
Austrian-born artist Erwin Redl uses LEDs as an artistic medium. Working in both two and three dimensions, his works redefine interior and exterior spaces. Born in 1963, Redl began his studies as a musician, receiving a BA in Composition and Diploma in Electronic Music at the Music Academy in Vienna, Austria. In 1995, he received an MFA in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he now lives.
Redl’s works have received attention both nationally and internationally. With his piece Matrix VI (detail), he lit the face of New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art for its 2002 Biennial Exhibit. Works such as Matrix II, which was shown in New York, Germany, France, Austria, and Korea, and Fade I, which animated the Eglise Sainte-Marie Madeleine in Lille, France, explore volume and allow people to move through lit spaces.

That was my time for today's workout (I guess technically yesterday's workout, since it's post-midnight):
100x burpee pull-up
It was a pretty yummy workout! I switched off pull-ups and chin-ups of course; still working on a balance between the two styles!

Office Pod
What a neat idea!
The OfficePOD is 2.1m x 2.1m space to create a self contained office that exceeds all standard office accommodation regulations & requirements. It's modular design enables speedy construction, even in gardens with the most difficult access. The POD has been designed to provide appropriate security when empty or occupied. Power is provided via a discreet and protected connection to the house or garage; IT and phone connectivity is generally wireless but can be similarly cabled. The POD is provided with a secure locking system of the highest quality.
"The OfficePOD cares for the environment also, thanks to its low energy consumption level, high levels of insulation and innovative cooling system. Recycled and recyclable products have been used wherever possible. The OfficePOD is being claimed to deliver savings of at least £9,000 per employee per year and reduce CO2 emissions per employee by between 46 percent and 67 percent. In nutshell, the OfficePOD is an office away from office designed to change the way people work. "
