The Big Picture - 2008 in Photographs

2008 contained many defining moments in history. A lot of it has already been documented in different magazines and websites, but I came across this one in particular at Boston.com. The website has divided some of the year's most memorable moments into three sections. Many of the photographs are impressive, some depressing, and a few graphic. All in all, this is an excellent collection of photos. The first picture here dropped my jaw. It's a picture of a storm brewing over an erupting volcano in Chile...pretty cool huh?
