Mr. Hare

“Quality, Style and Emotion. For years Mr. Hare has sought these qualities in the pursuit of great men’s shoes, only to be cozened by the inducement of comfort features or outlandish fashion attitude.”

FRESH! I NEED THIS!

Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Plush Toys

I really like this character especially because it's my kind...a panda! These plush toys are certainly elusive as well, because the plush doll is 449,400 yen (approxiamately $4,000) and the plush keychain is 99,540 yen (approxiamately $1,000)! With prices like those, you probably won't see much of these guys around! SHEESH!

Supra TK Society X-Games Edition

Man these are really good! I'm diggin' both of these but I'd take the green if I had to choose!

Cutest Puppy of the Week! (07.27.09-08.02.09)

O...M...G!

My friend Kyle just got the cutest little puppy! The pup's name is Olive and she is a boxer/blue heeler. From what Kyle says on his blog (kylessober.blogspot.com), she sounds like a very well-trained, well-behaved, and all around good dog! I will probably make quite a few posts on Olive because she is so CUTE! I can't wait to meet her!

btw, there is a VERY cute video on Kyle's blog of little Atticus playing with Olive! It melted my heart!

Madhouse x Marvel Comics

Marvel Entertainment Inc., has partnered with renowned Japanese animation studio Madhouse (Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers) and multiple-Eagle Award winner Warren Ellis to create four all new anime versions of classic Marvel Super Heroes. Get an exciting first glimpse of IRON MAN and WOLVERINE, two of the planned four series!

SWEET!

100 Yard Dash

I don't think I posted this before, but I meant to. A little late, but still a fresh video from Raphael Saadiq. His awesome album "The Way I See It" is in stores now! I'll post another video for his song "Let's Take A Walk" once I can find one that I can embed!

Imitation is Suicide

YES! It looks like Kenna is somewhat keeping to his word because this teaser hints that part one of his newest project "Land 2 Air Chronicles" will be out in September! I don't know...it will probably be pushed back but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Kenna will of course have help from longtime friend Chad Hugo and it looks like RJD2 will lend a helping hand as well (crazy huh)! Here's a short teaser with an RJD2 track playing (though it kinda sounds like Chad...) called "Imitation is Suicide" (awesome track)!

All you Turbo fans out there might recognize something...

Hey MCMD, I think you'll like this!

Cutest Puppy of the Week! (7.20.09-7.26.09)

Sorry for the lack of cute puppy updates, I've been mega busy lately! So without further ado...

Meet Lula! How in the world do you get mad at something like this?

Getcha Some

Big Sean's first single off of his upcoming album "Finally Famous". Crazy how this song has been out since Kanye's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" mixtape (years ago!) and it's just now receiving a video! Good song though, and an awesome video. I didn't really dig Big Sean's "UKNOWBIGSEAN" mixtape (though it had it's moments) but I hope his album is a lot better!

Ozone

Another awesome music video from Turbo! If you can't tell from his music, style, pictures, and now music videos that he is certainly a master of art and aesthetics, then you're a fool! You can check out his music at myspace.com/scrambleupwards or just scroll down and click the link to his blog on the right side of the page. Scramble UP!

As We Shine

9th Wonder presents this new song from Tom Hardy feat. Rapsody & D-Mal. This is a really great song and quite a team of rappers! They're all awesome though! Check out this fun music video for it! What a lucky bunch of people to have a track from 9th Wonder!

Make Her Say

Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West & Common. Very cool video! That dang Gaga sample slightly annoys me though...

Thank you!

I apologize for not posting this earlier, but I have been so busy with life!

I just want to send a sincere thank you to everyone that came out to support the Dedicated Servers and the local hip hop scene on Friday night! MCMD and I had a blast even though it was scorching hot in the Neurolux! I met so many people that night and saw so many familiar faces as well, and it was a pleasure and honor to be able to give you guys my all. Thank you all deeply again, and I hope that we can keep your attention to come to more of our shows! We try to switch it up here and there to keep our shows from getting bland, so don't expect the same stuff all the time!

I want to give a special shout out to Mat (of MT Theory) for putting on the show and allowing us to be part of it and also to Eleven and Noah for always having our backs!

Our next show is on Wednesday (I'll probably make a separate post about that) and we have another show on Monday August 3rd so STAY TUNED TO THIS PAGE for more info! SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!

Break Theory VI

Break Theory VI is a yearly event put on my Mat (of Boise's MT Theory clothing brand) to showcase Boise's hip-hop scene and mainly Boise's breakdancing community. There's a good turnout every year, and this year should be no different. Luckily for MCMD and I, we are included in this year's festivities (even though our names aren't on the flyers; we were etched in after the flyers were done). These breakers are super good and you can believe they're preparing for their best show tomorrow! There are also breakers trekking to the show from Utah...will they prove a challenge to the Boise b-boys? I guess you'll have to find out at the show!

The event will take place at the Neurolux on Friday, July 17th (that's tomorrow!) at 9p and will go until 2a or later. We'll be part of the opening ceremony; Eleven's performing after us and then the battles will commence with Timbuk2 and Origin (of Kamphire Collective) as hosts. As you can tell from the names, this event has Boise's finest hip-hop! Throw it in with good dancing and good music and you have yourself one awesome evening!

The show will cost $5 and you must be 21+ to enter! MCMD and I hope to see you all there! You already know we have a great show planned for you! Trust me, whenever we're paired with Eleven, our forces contain high energy and good times!

Hot Toys Thriller Figures

Sweet! These figures by Hot Toys come in a 1/6 scale and will be launching in December. Only thing is, these will be going for 24,000 yen (approxiamately $225)! Good God! So cool though!

Chop Sabers

These are some pretty sweet chopsticks! I guess they have a kids size too (which come in Yoda's green lightsaber) and they all come with a translucent Star Wars logo chopstick rest. Me want!

Purple Flip

I can't think of a better combo. This track entitled "Purple Flip" is a collaboration track featuring Foreign Exchange (Phonte and Nicolay), Zo!, Carlitta Durand, and ?uestlove and is their ode to the purple one himself. This track was recorded over a month ago, but due to certain circumstances, the artists felt like they needed to release this as soon as possible (agreed!). These are words from Nicolay and Phonte:

"In the wake of the incredible loss we suffered on June 25, this joint took on somewhat of a deeper meaning. We decided to share it with our fans not only as a token of appreciation, but also as a way of paying respect to one of our last living musical geniuses. Let's not wait until tragedy strikes before we show love and gratitude to our heroes, people. Give them their flowers while they live. This one's for you, Mr. Nelson. You are loved and appreciated."

The flipped song is "Take Me With You" (click the picture to listen and/or download). Such a good song!

Flawless.
